Sensapex was founded in 2008 to commercialize a new micro-positioning technology developed in the founder's lab at the University of Oulu.

The first micromanipulator was shipped in December 2011 after several years of intensive research and development. The company now has over 800 customers in more than 40 countries.

Sensapex is located in Oulu, Finland - just 200 km from the Arctic Circle! The firm has a worldwide network of partners and its own office in the U.S. for local presence.
