Sensapex uMs modular microscopes support any standard Nikon and non-Nikon options. XY-table stiffness is higher than that of railroad rails and 50 times less vibration!

Newest Technologies and Distinctive Designs

In response to frequent demands for more accurate and stable upright microscope configurations from Sensapex' uMp micromanipulator clients, uMs microscopy products were created. The idea of design is based on a stationary microscope with automated sample positioning.

The upright microscope, model number uMs-FN1, features closed-loop controlled z-focus from Sensapex. The sample and objective have plenty of room around the slim stand.

For confocal and/or multiphoton applications, the top surface of the platform contains a scalable and sturdy optical breadboard in addition to providing standard Nikon imaging options.

For in vivo and other reflected light applications, the bottom portion of the microscope with transmitted light exposure can be removed.

Superior stability and precision combined with the smoothest movement are achieved by optimizing for the highest rigidity and the finest motion control.
