XY-Platforms for Microscopes

Translational XY-platforms with micro-positioning are provided for all models of microscopes from renowned manufacturers, as well as any uncommon microscopes with specified dimensions.

• Axis lengths of 25–50 mm
• manual positioning in 10 µm to < 1 µm increments (micro screws 20 to 100TPI are listed below; when ordering, please indicate the type of screws you need)
• automated positioning with a resolution of 0.2 to 0.1 µm.
• maximum center-loaded weight of 90,72 kg (200 lbs)
• mounting kits are available for many fixed stage microscope brands, including Zeiss, Leica, Olympus BX51/61 WI, and Nikon E600FN.

MXMS-100. Manual-positioning platforms

In place of the standard XY rollers, these platforms make use of ball bearings as back reference points.

Stable placement in each axis to within 25 mm.

MXMS-100cr. Motorized platforms or manual positioning platforms

Three XY roller anchor points.

Stable placement on each axis to within 25 mm.

≤5 µm is the motorized platform's dead range.

All cables are shielded to reduce interference (suitable for electrophysiological experiments).

Available micro screws for manual positioning have 20, 40, 80, and 100 thread spins per inch, respectively, in increments of 10 μm, 5 μm and < 1 μm.

MC2000. Control device for the ceiling platform

RJ-232 connector for computer connection.

LabVIEW™ software is used to control the device, allowing for a wide variety of user-defined interface options.

An outside device can handle rough positioning (joystick or custom keypad)

Create your own specialized software (essential virtual tool libraries are provided)

You can utilize the DR1000 digital position indicator (for repeat or relative positioning).

To monitor several axes, multiple indicators can be linked.

50 mm is the maximum measurement range, and accuracy is 0.1 µm.

• 20 TPI. Micro-screw with 20 turns of thread per inch 10 µm pitch.
• 40 TPI. Micro-screw 40 thread revolutions per inch. 5 µm positioning pitch.
• 80 TPI. Micro-screw 80 thread revolutions per inch. Positioning spacing < 1 µm.
• 100 TPI. Micro-screw 100 thread revolutions per inch. Positioning spacing < 1 µm.
