Tidas-E Base Series Photo Diode Array Spectrometer

The Tidas series from WPI is a premium fiber-optic spectrometer module created for low noise applications. When it comes to high accuracy fiber optic sampling, the Tidas series outperforms traditional bench-based spectrophotometers and CCD-based spectrometer modules. It is supported by a Zeiss monolithic optical bench designed for fiber optic applications. Because to costly prism decoupling, the majority of cuvette-based standard spectrometers lose more than 90% of their light input. For fiber optic sample cells, there is a series called Tidas. At noise levels less than 0.04 mAU peak to peak, spectral detection in the wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm can be carried out using proper light sources and sample cells.

Applications

The fiber optic sampling equipment used by WPI is perfect for the Tidas series. With effective pathlengths ranging from 50 to 500 cm, Liquid Waveguide Capillary Cells (LWCC) from WPI can be used to build high sensitivity detection systems for flow analysis. In fluid injection analysis systems for nutrient analysis (nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, iron) in oceanographic applications, these configurations are often utilized. The V-Vette or DipTip™ dipping probes from WPI can be used to assemble microliter sample systems for UV/VIS applications.

Software

For the Tidas-E, there are separate software programs for data gathering and data processing. To operate the spectrometer module, collect spectra in either single- or continuous-mode, manage the digital I/Os, and save the experimental data to disk, an instrument driver called TIDASDAQ is needed. The software program SpectraView is used to analyze data. Moreover, GRAMS/AI can import data from TIDASDAQ directly, which is a function that is particularly helpful for sophisticated data analysis for pharmaceutical applications and requirements.

TidasDAQ 3 Labor: Data Sampling and Instrument Control

High accuracy intensity, absorbance, transmittance, or normalized spectra can be acquired in under a second using TidasDAQ 3 Labor. To acquire spectrum data, only a small number of parameters must be changed. It is possible to sample from single scans, continuous full spectra scans, or triggered scans. At up to four wavelengths, chromatograms can be shown and recorded to disk. As well as ASCII, Spectralys/SpectraView, Excel, and Grams/AI formats, data export for 2D and 3D spectrograms and chromatograms is also available. The TTL level digital outputs of the Tidas series can be used to drive light sources and other sampling equipment, and its TTL levels external inputs can start data collection.

TIDASDAQ 3 Labor: Data Analysis

A spectroscopic data analysis module tailored for flow analysis applications is now included of the TIDASDAQ 3 Labor software. It handles the data that TIDASDAQ 3 Labor recorded. You can see recorded spectra in 2D (the default) and 3D using the Analysis module. Your data can be worked with using mathematical computation, derivation, smoothing, quantification, and other functions. Single point and multiple point analysis, multiple linear regression, partial least squares, and principal component analysis are all supported by the Analysis module. A 3D analysis file's data can be exported and imported into several scans. Also, for additional data analysis, chromatograms and spectrograms can be transferred directly into Excel.
