WPI's FO-6000 spectrum

A continuous fiber optic light source called the FO-6000 has an expanded visible portion (380 nm - 1700 nm). A SMA fiber optic connector is present. Both the shutter and the lamp can be operated by a switch or an outside TTL trigger. The uses for this light source are numerous. The color balancing optics of the FO-6000 are a unique feature, shifting the useful range of the light source from conventional 420 nm down to 380 nm wavelength. It is ideally suited for low noise and low drift applications because of its thermally regulated optical bench.
