The WPI's Dri-Ref reference electrodes provide extremely low electrolyte leakage (KCl) and exhibit stable and reproducible potential and low resistance.
WPI created the Dri-Ref™ reference electrodes with extraordinarily low electrolyte leakage characteristics. In addition to this important property these electrodes also have low resistance and a consistent, repeatable voltage. When not in use, they can be kept in KCl and have a long lifespan.
Although the internal filling solution contains KCI, Dri-Ref can be used with ion selective electrodes, such as those for K+ and Cl-, without significantly contaminating the reference electrode due to its low fluid leakage.
Strong acids and alkalines won't chemically harm Dri-Ref electrodes. The use of Dri-Ref electrodes in organic solvents is not recommended. Additionally, the long, thin FLEXREF can be simply managed to fit a challenging experimental setting.
