A combined deuterium and halogen light source called the D4H is used in UV/VIS and NIR applications. The spectrometer modules and sample cells from WPI can be used with this light source with no problems. From 200 nm to 1700 nm, it offers a continuous spectrum in the UV, VIS, and NIR ranges. A switch or TTL signal can operate the integrated electrical shutter that is part of the D4H.
