TEC-05X – Two Electrode Clamp for Large Cells

NPI's TEC-05X serves as a two-electrode voltage clamp amplifier designed for recordings from small to medium-sized cells.

Advantages of the TEC-05X

  • Single electrode recording in BRIDGE mode: Authentic current clamp operation with recorded membrane potential and complete cancellation of series resistance (potential electrode).
  • Four-pole BESSEL filter for current.
  • Digital DISPLAYS for current, voltage, and electrode resistance.
  • BUZZ and ELECTRODE CLEAR feature with remote hand or foot switch.
  • OSCILLATION SHUT-OFF unit safeguards cells from damage.
  • Available in low voltage (±15 V) and high voltage (up to ±150 V) versions, ranging from pA to µA.
  • Simple connection to all major data acquisition systems, TTL control of MODE of OPERATION, and telegraphing outputs for current sensitivity and filter.
