uniTemp – Temperature Controller

Npi's uniTemp serves as a user-friendly temperature controller specifically designed for electrophysiology.

Advantages of the uniTemp

  • Set the temperature & proceed
  • Factory-set control parameters tailored to the heater
  • Extra input for an external sensor
  • Engineered for compatibility with ALA’s perfusion and stage heaters

Npi's uniTemp temperature controllers are designed for simplicity: simply adjust the desired temperature using the rotary knob and connect the heater. All control parameters (gain, speed, etc.) are pre-configured to align with the heating device intended for use with the system. This includes perfusion heaters, heated microscope stages, animal heating pads, and objective heaters. An optional external sensor can be utilized to monitor the actual temperature.

Npi’s temperature controllers are crafted for application in delicate electrophysiological recording environments. The analog control circuits are designed to prevent the introduction of switching artifacts into the system. The use of high-power toroidal transformers ensures the elimination of any high-frequency noise from the power supply.
