Single Electrode Clamp
The SEC-03M is a switched mode single electrode voltage and current clamp amplifier module designed for recordings utilizing sharp microelectrodes or suction (patch) pipettes.
It is now feasible to integrate up to three SEC amplifiers within a single 19 inch housing for the study of coupled cells, and when utilizing npi’s software CellWorks, no BNC cabling is necessary. All signals are internally connected to the INT-20M breakout box through the EPMS bus.
Alternatively, one can combine an SEC-03M with a PEN-03M module for straightforward cell penetration or with a HVC-03M module to achieve both a single and a two-electrode voltage-clamp system within one EPMS housing.
