KG series mechanical sensors are designed to measure force over a wide range. A resolution of 0.2 ?�N makes it possible to measure the force exerted by an individual cardiomyocyte.

At the push of a button, different transducer bodies can be switched out, set, and zeroed to the same bridge amplifier. The system is ready for operation after a quick calibration using a suitable weight.

Mounting Devices

There are several practical fiber mounting tools offered in two lengths and two shaft sizes.

Length:

For conventional, isometric forces, the 32mm length is perfect.
When working with a motor, go with the 22mm length.

Shaft diameter :

Use the 0.8mm for the KG4 and KG7B force transducers.
Use the 0.5mm for the KG4A and KG7.

The KG2 have special mounting hardware.
