R810 Dual Color System

R810 Dual Color Multichannel Fiber Photometry System

The RWD R810 dual-color multichannel fiber photometry system allows recording calcium and neurotransmitters in neurobiological experiments on the brain of awake animals.

To define variations in neuronal population activity, the fiber photometry system monitors changes in the fluorescence intensity of neurons in a particular brain region. The optical fiber recording device can undertake long-term stable monitoring of the neurons in a group of freely moving animals for the purpose of studying neural circuits, and then investigate the relationship between neuronal activity and animal behavior.

In order to effectively acquire genuine fluorescence data, the RWD R810 Dual Color Multichannel Fiber Photometry System features two excitation light sources: 410nm and 470nm, of which the special 410nm can be employed as a background signal. In order to simultaneously record multiple brain nuclei or multiple animals, the device may capture data from nine channels.

High Accurate

  • Scientific research-grade CMOS camera with better quantum conversion efficiency and a maximum acquisition frequency of 300 frames per second.
  • Two different excitation light sources (410/470 nm), with the 410 nm light source serving as the reference light source and the 470 nm light source activating the GCaMP, efficiently removing motion artifacts.

High Efficiency

  • Enables simultaneous acquisition of up to 9 channels, making it appropriate for simultaneous recording of several nerve nuclei.
  • Fluorescence data, video of animal behavior, and specialized integrated software can all be gathered and evaluated concurrently.

Humanized

  • Four input ports provide automatic marking and a range of external signal inputs. Four output ports enable the output of TTL signals to activate external third-party devices.
  • The software offers automatic marking of external signals and ten different types of manual marking.
  • The software allows you to specify a variety of start and finish criteria. There are also two types of excitation: Continuous and Sequential.
  • When behavioral video is being collected, different ROI zones can be created and given names. Afterwards, different behavioral analysis can be carried out.
  • The outcomes can be exported in a variety of forms, including CSV, HeatMap, df/f, Z-Score, and more.

Features & Benefits

Accuracy and Multichannel Capability

  • Fluorescence signal acquisition is more precise with two types of LED excitation light sources, 410 and 470 nm, of which 410 is the reference channel.
  • It can accommodate up to 9 channels, making it ideal for simultaneous recording of multiple groups of neuronal nuclei or high-throughput calcium signal capture.

Superior CMOS Sensor

  • A scientific research camera with ultra-high sensitivity, greater quantum conversion efficiency, and a recording rate of 300 frames per second.

Integrated Digital Communication

  • Four input ports, automated labeling, and support for a range of external signals.
  • There are 4 output ports that support TTL output signals for triggering external independent equipment.
  • To satisfy the objectives of closed-loop research, there is support for three different signal transmission techniques: high level, low level, and pulse signal.

Complex Event Marker

  • 10 different types of automated and manual marking are supported, and shortcut keys, names, and colors can all be changed.
  • Several ROI areas can be established and given names while behavioral video is being collected, and various behavioral analysis can then be carried out.

Professional Integrated Software

  • Video of animal behavior and fluorescence data can both be gathered and examined concurrently.
  • Several experimental application situations can be accommodated by configuring the excitation light output mode.
  • The software allows you to specify a variety of initial and final conditions.
  • Results can be exported in a variety of forms, including CSV, Heat-map, df/f, Z-Score, and more.
