R-480 Nanoliter Microinjection Pump

A glass capillary-equipped microinjection pump. For nanoliter injection, the plunger's exact displacement forces the liquid into the glass capillary, and a special seal design assures a tighter connection and improved airtightness between the plunger and the glass capillary.

Applications:

• Rats and mice can be subjected to stereotaxic injections of medicines, viruses, neurotransmitters, or pigments into deep brain tissue.
• Fish and frogs: Nucleic acid material, protein, and dyes are injected into zebrafish clawed toad embryos and larvae.
