The portable stereotaxes support the installation of rat or mouse adapters and ear rods. Dual arm models as well as digital portable stereotaxes are available.

By using the same base that is perfectly fitted with adaptors and corresponding ear bars, the novel design makes it possible to execute surgery on both mice and rats more effectively. Three axes, a left-handed manipulator arm, rat and mouse nose clips, 18° and 60° ear bars, and a standard probe holder are included. Furthermore available are different subassemblies like dual arm, digital, etc.

Technical Parameters

Size of the base plate: 400 x 255 mm.
35.5mm separates the ear bar from the base plate.
Ear bar slots with 0.1mm resolution vernier.
Ear bars have a 35mm scale with a 1mm resolution.
The adaptor has a 30mm (+10mm-20mm) dorsal/ventral adjustment range with 0.1mm resolution.
Working distance in three dimensions is 80 mm, and alignment accuracy is accurate to 0.1 mm.
Vertical rotation and locking at any angle of 180 degrees.
Rotate 360 degrees in the horizontal direction and lock at any angle.
Screws with two leads ensure steady, precise, and fluid manipulation.
Variable temperatures allow for the maintenance of accuracy and flexibility.
A distinctive UP symbol in the knob's anti-clockwise direction prevents improper rotation.
To guarantee proper operation at any angle, the vertical lock and fixation knob are separated.

Scales with laser engraving make reading them comfortable.
Ear bar locking plate pushing rather than clamping ensures greater stability.
The devices have attachment points for a drill, tiny camera, and syringe pump.
