The rotating microtome device will repeatedly produce thin, serial slices of the highest quality while working with fragile materials (brain samples, for instance). Specimen advance and retraction are more precisely controlled by a special side specimen knob and visual pointer design. Safety is improved by a handwheel double lock system, a knife ejector, and a guard.
