Ultra High Power Collimated LEDs

Ultra high power LEDs successfully replace mercury, xenon lamps and lasers. This equipment is used in applications such as fluorescence microscopy, optogenetics, chemical reaction activation, annealing, and many others.

As comparison to standard High Power collimated LED devices, Ultra High Power Collimated LEDs offer a substantial increase in power. Several collimated LED heads may be easily connected to beam combiners, filter wheels, beam switchers, and countless other components thanks to the modular design, which also makes it possible to produce multi-wavelength collimated, light-guide linked, or fiber coupled LED light sources.

In order to provide a collimated LED beam suitable for direct connection to the epi-fluorescence port of a fluorescence microscope or for direct illumination of various targets like microplates and petri dishes, Prizmatix's Ultra High Power Collimated LED head has an integrated adjustable aspheric collimator.

Prizmatix light-guide coupled UHP-F is a small, self-contained device created to deliver ultra-high power illumination through light-guide for applications ranging from normal microscopy illumination in the visible to curing, uncaging, and cross-linking in the UV.

A complete Optogenetics Toolbox can be created by combining the Ultra High Power Collimated LED with a variety of other Prizmatix OptiBlocks, including the Fiber Coupler, Liquid Light Guide Coupler, Beam Combiner, Filter Wheel, Beam Switcher, Rotary Joint, and others.
