PowerLab data acquisition and recording systems with connected Millar Ventri-Cath?„? and Mikro-Tip?® catheters enable recording and analysis of highly accurate signals of cardiovascular parameters (pressure and volume).
Any combination and configuration of perivascular flowmeter or tubing flowmeter modules can be accommodated by one or two channel systems, even keeping a channel empty to accommodate the addition of a second flowmeter module in the future.
To measure blood flow, an appropriate Flowprobe is placed around a single vessel and utilized in conjunction with the Transonic Perivascular Flowmeter. There are flowprobes for all artery types, acute or chronic research, and a variety of animal species, from mice to pigs and sheep.
To measure fluid flow in laboratory tubing, the Transonic Tubing Flowmeter can be coupled with inline flowprobes. They already have the correct calibrations for the temperature, flow rates, perfusate solutions, and tube type. Please talk to your ADInstruments salesperson about your needs before purchasing flowprobes and flowsensors separately.
PL3508B11
With appropriate Flowprobes that are exterior to the vessel, you may measure the perivascular blood flow from a single type of vessel in a variety of animal species.
PL3508B12
Using the appropriate Flowsensors, determine the tubing fluid flow from a single laboratory tube.
PL3508B13
Take two measurements of the perivascular blood flow from a variety of animal species using appropriate Flowprobes that are exterior to the vessel.
PL3508B14
Using the appropriate Flowsensors, measure the tubing fluid flow from two different laboratory tubes.
PL3508B15
Measure the tubing fluid flow from a single laboratory tube as well as the perivascular blood flow in a single blood vessel from a variety of animal species using compatible Flowprobes and Flowsensors.
