Vertical Micropipette Puller Sutter P-30

The vertical micropipette puller model P-30 is intended for the manufacture of basic and patch-type micropipettes. It can pull micropipettes with modest taper lengths (6 to 10 mm) and tip sizes as tiny as 0.3 mm. The P-30 will pull the common double pull patch-type pipette utilizing a patching attachment that is included. It will create pipettes or needles suited for microinjection investigations when used with thin wall glass capillaries. Student laboratories and other areas where a cost-effective, dependable pipette pulling equipment is required are perfect for the P-30.

Either a platinum/iridium or a nichrome filament is offered for the P-30. The Nichrome filament is durable and ideal for a wide range of applications. Although more sensitive to damage than the Nichrome filament, the platinum heating element is recommended for thick wall and aluminosilicate glass as well as applications needing shorter taper lengths since it is more effective at heating and cooling.
