The OxyStar-100 O2 monitor provides a highly sensitive measurement of respiratory oxygen consumption.
The sophisticated paramagnetic oxygen transducer used by CWE's OxyStar fast response O2 monitor is totally digital in nature. A straightforward two-point approach is used for calibration, often using nitrogen (for 0.0%) and room air (20.9%). Over the course of its full measurement range, the analyzer provides high linearity and stability.
Simple one-knob calibration, an analog voltage output signal, and a serial data output for remote monitoring or data collecting are all standard features of the OxyStar. Rapid changes and trends are displayed over three user-selectable ranges in a bar-graph format. Standard Luer-loc fittings are used for the sample inlet and outflow connections. Together with sample tubing, the instrument also includes an accessory pack of tubing and adapter fittings for providing customized sample tubing configurations.
