Axon's model cells mimic various cell, bilayer, and electrode variants. They are intended for debugging electrophysiological amplifiers.
Used to build up discrete (discontinuous) single-electrode potential fixation and two-electrode potential fixation. It has two electrodes that can be attached to a cell or a bath. The connections work with U-heads from the HS series. Available I n conjunction with Axoclamp or Axoprobe, free of charge.
Simulates the clamp on both the entire cell and a specific channel. The connectors work with CV U-heads. Comes with every Axopatch amplifier for free.
Simulates membrane capacitance, membrane resistance, and the series resistance component that is membrane-bound. A patch clamp electrode, a bath ground electrode, a sensing electrode, and intracellular electrodes are all modeled by the resistors. The switch enables testing of the amplifier in conditions of high current and low membrane resistance. The connectors are appropriate for U-heads of the HS type.
Contains capacitance and a resistor to imitate a bilayer diaphragm. The connectors are CV U-head compatible. I ncluded with Axopatch 200A in full supply.
Mimics a patch-clamp recording system for an entire cell. Connectors are appropriate for headstages from the U-type HS series. Bundled without cost with the Axoclamp-2B.
