Using a pre-amplifying headstage, the Model 3600 16-Channel Extracellular Amplifier can record up to 16 distinct extracellular signals.
16 AMPLIFIERS IN ONE. SEVERAL HEADSTAGE OPTIONS.
The Model 3600 has a front panel touch screen, sixteen separate channels, or amplifiers, computer control capabilities, and an integrated calibrator. Adaptable to two distinct headstage designs.
Also, users can use an external oscilloscope to keep an eye on activity on any two of the channels.
A solitary computer software can manage numerous devices and channels.
The Model 3600 offers:
When combined with Model 3600 Amplifier, it can be used for simultaneous stimulation and recording on any combination (or all) of the 16 channels. We can supply adapters for use with alternative electrode configurations, such as the Michigan Probe, once they are sealed in the Omnetics Corporation nanominiature connections. This headstage controls signal routes between stimulating and recording modes using fast switching relays (microsecond switching times, not milliseconds!).
There is a recording output cable included. To use the stimulation features, you must have the optional Stimulation control cable (#962050). Maximum current is 20 mA, and the voltage range is ±10V.
16 amplified channels and an amplified reference electrode channel are features of this small x20 headstage. The headstage as a whole is about the size of a penny and uses nanominiature Omnetics Corporation connectors with a 0.025" connector spacing.
It does not come with a wire for recording output. Order Output Cable, #961150.
Direct connections to electrodes or a connector with short input leads are two possible input configurations (Product 963000). There are adapters available for both a bigger pin connector (Product 963100) and the Michigan Probe DIP electrode (Product 963200). For more information, please get in touch with us.
Software for Windows control is an optional feature of the Model 3600. Through a USB port (cable included), this program manages every aspect of the amplifier.
A real-time notepad that records modifications to parameter settings or annotations written by experimenters is provided by the application, which also allows for the storage of an infinite number of 16-Channel parameter files.
