MT-78 FS - Fixed Stage Platform

Constructed for experimentation, with a single huge table serving as a sturdy mounting surface for devices such as micromanipulators. The table is a platform made of aluminum that is supported by two common MT-75 stands. The table's design makes it simple to attach to a vibration-reducing table and enables for height adjustment. The compatibility with a range of microscope and equipment combinations is ensured by many degrees of freedom.

Researchers can easily change the microscope's X-Y axis by using the Sutter's XY translator (MT-800 motorized or MT-500 handheld) in combination with the MT-78-FS fixed stage/platform. The huge single stage design makes it possible to accommodate extra instruments (handpieces, handpieces, perfusion systems, ...)

The MT-78-FS stage's aluminum surface provides holes for attachment and a good viewing angle. When using the adaptor plates included with the manipulators, the hole pattern is ideal for installing Sutter MP285 and MP225 manipulators. The new MP265/M manipulator and the 285RBI rotating base may both be quickly mounted on the table.

A 4x6" compartment in the centre of the MT-78-FS upper platform can accept different aluminum inserts for different tissue tubs and media holders. Order-made inserts are available. It is possible to mount perfusion systems, various electrodes, etc. using magnetic mounts by using stainless steel magnetic inserts.
