Lambda TLED / TLED+

LED Transmitted Light Source Lambda TLED / TLED+

Lambda TLED/TLED+ are LED light sources for microscope illumination port and similar applications. Available in white or a variety of colors, including infrared.

The Lambda TLED and TLED+ are independent LED light sources that can be utilized with a microscope's transmitted light path or in other situations requiring a similar setup.

The core components of the system are a controller and an LED installed on a unique heat sink made of black anodized aluminum. A robust modular universal power source supplies both the TLED and TLED+ controllers. Using a toggle switch or TTL logic, the controllers may regulate on-off and intensity. When employing TTL control, the on-off time is < 25 µsecs. The Lambda TLED+ offers an analog input for modulating LED intensity in addition to digital input control. The Lambda TLED and TLED+ are anticipated to deliver consistent output for more than 50,000 hours.

A high-output white light LED may be obtained for the Lambda TLED and TLED+, making it an useful light source for contrast techniques like Phase and Differential Interference Contrast (DIC).

We have a number of alternatives to the typical white-light LED, including an IR-LED that is appropriate for studies needing IR-DIC. Inquire with us for more information.

Two high power LEDs are combined into a single light path by dual channel Lambda TLED+ solution. The TLED-DC has a 460 nm LED for stimulation, and a white light LED's phosphor emission is passed through the second channel. The white light channel is appropriate for a number of applications and can be used to access spectra in the range of 510 nm to 630 nm. Both channels can be triggered independently by a TTL signal and are each powered by a separate TLED+ controller. There are many wavelength settings available.

Every Lambda TLED/TLED+ system comes with comprehensive installation instructions and an optical mounting adaptor for the microscope. The majority of models of Nikon, Olympus, Zeiss, and Leica microscopes can be fitted using mounting adapters. For a fee, special adapters are available for the Lambda TLED/TLED+.

To provide a homogenized beam of light to the sample, the TLED-FT is a potent and small array of 9 LEDs. The TLED-FT, which can illuminate a 96 well plate, comes in blue, green, red, and white light variants. The TLED controller offers switch- or TTL-controlled, consistent lighting intensity. Suitable for transparent samples and optogenetics.

For stereo microscopes with lenses up to 65 mm in diameter, the TLED-RL is a ring light illuminator. The sample is evenly and directly illuminated by the ring lamp, which is made up of a spherical assembly of many white light LEDs.
