GeneGnome XRQ is a chemiluminescence imaging platform. A quick setup procedure enables the automatic acquisition of a high-quality picture of any western blot with a single "click."
Great Westerns without Film Using a Dedicated Chemiluminescence Imaging Technology
You enjoy the sensitivity that chemi adds to Western blot imaging, but you detest the fuss that comes with utilizing film to capture it. You can easily see picogram or femtogram protein levels without a lot of hassle by using the GeneGnome XRQ's optimized short "camera to sample" technology, which gives you more than double the dynamic range of film.
The GeneGnomeXRQ, which is made specifically for chemiluminescence imaging and has a high quantum efficiency CCD camera, is designed for excellent performance and automation.
The small gadget takes up very little room as it is placed on any laboratory bench. Use of the GeneGnome XRQ necessitates an external Computer.
The system comes with limitless licenses of GeneTools analysis software and is operated by GeneSys application-driven image capturing software.
Dedicated chemi imaging system
- Less space required means more room for your research
- A high quantum efficiency (QE) camera can find even the most subtle bands
- Chemiluminescent capture automatically - flawless exposure without film
- Cooled camera: Your blots won't have any unpleasant background noise
- GeneSys software-controlled fixed lens - Image any manufacturer's chemi reagents with a single click
- Software for application-driven picture capture from GeneSys has a large database of dyes and imaging techniques. GeneSys will choose the best lighting and filters based solely on the type of blot you are using to create the ideal image
- Software for data analysis, GeneTools (unlimited copies). A nalyze the results on your PC
- Optimized for chemiluminescence imaging of the Western blots - the greatest sensitivity setting in GeneGnome XRQ ensures that even the tiniest band on a blot can be recorded
- High quantum efficiency cooled CCD cameras are extremely sensitive to the low level light emissions from blots. Because of the peltier cooled camera's excellent "signal to noise" performance, background noise is essentially unnoticeable. Working with chemiluminescence samples and reagents is made easier by the close "camera to sample" distance. The dynamic range of the GeneGnome XRQ is more than twice as large as that of film. This makes exceedingly precise quantification possible
- Small footprint – The GeneGnome XRQ is extremely space-efficient and has a very small footprint. The automated slide-out drawer makes handling samples simple. Since the lens's aperture and focus are fixed, there is very little setup required, making image capturing as easy as clicking a mouse button.
