Advantages of the BA-01M
- Accurate current clamp functionality
- User-friendly cell penetration mode featuring sharp microelectrodes
- Compatible with any data acquisition system
- Also offered as a 19" stand-alone device
Intracellular Bridge Mode Amplifier
The BA-01M bridge amplifier module serves as a high-impedance intracellular amplifier with a wide bandwidth, designed for recordings utilizing sharp microelectrodes or suction (patch) pipettes. Presently, BA amplifiers are employed in both vertebrate (such as rat, mouse, cat, fish, etc.) and invertebrate (including leech, crab, snail, insect, etc.) neurons, muscle cells, other excitable tissues, and plant cells.
The BA-01M EPMS module shares the same specifications as the BA-01X 19" stand-alone device, with the exception of having a single current input range (1 nA/V), one potential output (x10 mV), one bridge balance range (0-1000 MΩ), and lacking oscillation shut-off.
Features:
- Authentic current clamp operation with recorded membrane potential and complete elimination of series resistance
- Compatible with sharp microelectrodes and patch pipettes in both whole-cell and perforated-patch configurations
- Digital displays for current, voltage, and electrode resistance
- Oscillation shut-off unit to prevent cellular damage
- Buzz and electrode clear functionality
- Digital adjustment of gated stimulus amplitude, along with settings and digital readout of holding current
- Now featuring an enhanced (x10) current range for electroporation and iontophoresis
