Bio Amps: ECG / EKG, EEG, EOG, & EMG Biological Amplifiers

ADInstruments Bio Amps are galvanically isolated, high-performance differential biological potential amplifiers optimized to measure a wide variety of biological signals such as ECG / EKG, EMG, EOG, and EEG recordings.

The high-performance, differential biological potential amplifiers known as ADInstruments Bio Amps are galvanically isolated and designed to assess a wide range of biological signals, including ECG/EKG, EMG, EOG, and EEG recordings.

A number of filters, including the following, are available for processing biosignals from many study fields in conjunction with a PowerLab and LabChart:

  • Autonomic and sympathetic nervous system function
  • Cardiovascular disease and myocardial dysfunction
  • Muscle activation and fatigue
  • Evoked responses and stimulation
  • Heart rate variability/arrhythmia

Single, Duo, Quad, and Octal Bio Amps are equipped with Lead Wires and Bio Amp Connecting Cables, making them acceptable and secure for connecting to both people and animals. Also accessible for signal monitoring is an audio output.

The following items are compatible with Bio Amps:

  • Reusable ECG Electrodes
  • Chest ECG Electrodes (suction)
  • EEG Flat Electrodes
  • ECG Lead Switch Box
  • EEG Cap Systems
  • Adapter Packs
  • Octal Bio Amp Linking Cables

Signal conditioners from ADInstruments are incompatible with other data acquisition systems and only work with PowerLab data acquisition devices.
